KK Sharma, advisor to the Lieutenant governor GC Murmu, has extended greetings to the people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
KK Sharma, in a message said, “the festival is one of the most important ones in our cultural milieu, being celebrated since times immemorial and denotes the strong bond of love between a brother and sister based on love, compassion and protection. It also strengthens bonds between different communities cutting across the religious lines.
He appealed people to follow the SOPs put in place due to the Pandemic.
Rakhsha Bandhan is observed on the Last day of the of the month, Shravan, celebrating the love of a brother and sister.
