A woman died due to suffocation inside her house in Sagam Area of kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Wednesday.
Locals informed The Kashmiriyat that Firdoosa and her husband, Bashir Ahmad Rather, were found unconscious in their home at Ratherpora area of Sagam in kokernag late on Wednesday afternoon.
They said the couple was shifted to nearly hospital where Firdoosa was declared brought dead by doctors, while her husband was taken to SKIMS hospital for further treatment.
The couple suffocated when they were warming inside their room with a Gas heater. (The Kashmiriyat)
