Apart from being a celebrated tourist destination, Kashmir has a wonderful culture which has played an important role in earning accolades for it from across the world. Be it literature, lifestyle, language, religion, arts, crafts, music and dance.
To enjoy and experience the rich cultural heritage of the ‘Paradise on earth’ and celebrate the spirit of Kashmiriyat, hundreds of Kashmiris gathered in Indian IT Hub, Bangaluru on Sunday evening at Skydeck, Bengaluru.

Kashmiri culture including the food, music and Arts were illustrated to the participants that included Kashmiri Muslims, Hindus and Non Kashmiris as well.
“The aim of the event was to bring together thousands of Kashmiri who are either settled, working or studying in Bangalore to give them a feel of home and to give outsiders a chance to explore the beauty of Kashmir beyond the bold news headlines,” Azmat Ali, the organizer of the event told The Kashmiriyat.

We are happy, that the event brought together a huge gathering of the community for an evening of enthralling cultural performances by various Kashmiri artists, she said adding “the event was organised to promote the culture and ethos of Kashmir.”
“The money raised from the event will provide a chance to uplift the under privileged and orphans of Kashmir, who will be provided skill development for their long term employment and self sustenance,” Azmat Ali said while speaking to The Kashmiriyat.

Many artists including Zareef Ahmed Zareef (Poet), Ali Saifuddin (Musician), Rayees Mohiudeen (Stand up Comedian), Reshma (Singer) and bands Alif performed at the event.
