The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has acted tough against the consumers for not paying the monthly electricity tariff and have disconnected a total of 1000 connections in Chanapora sub division.
The electricity sub division Chanapora in a post on X have informed that 1134 connections have been disconnected for not paying the dues and asked the consumers to pay up to get the light glowing again.
As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a total of 40 connections have been disconnected in BSF while 30 and 40 connections have been disconnected in Bagh-e-Mehtab Lower and Upper respectively.
The post reads that 113 connections have been disconnected in Badshahnagar, 67 at C.P Villagte, 62 at Gulshan Nagar, 106 at Headquarters, 57 at Lal Nagar, 150 at Mehjoor Nagar, 104 at Mochowa, 62 at Naik Bagh, 119 at Natipora, 119 at Nowgam and 64 at Rambagh—(KNO)
