Kulgam Encounter- After a Brief Lull, Massive Firing Restarts, One Militant Killed So Far

After the killing of one militant, fresh firing has started at the site of the encounter in the Chanser area of Kulgam’s Czawalgam area.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, sources said that reinforcements have been rushed to the spot and locals are being evacuated from around the spot of the encounter.

Earlier, an encounter started between militants and Government Forces when forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.

During the cordon, the officials said, militants fired upon them, triggering  an encounter.

The initial exchange of gunfight lead to the killing of one militant who has not been identified as of yet.
