The death toll in the ongoing Kulgam Encounter has reached four as an injured army man has succumbed to his injures.
Earlier, 34 RR of Indian army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF had jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area.
During the gunfight, a Police official identified as Aman Thakur was killed and a major was injured along with two other soldiers of Indian Army.
Among the injured soldiers, one succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
In the gunfight, two Militants have been also killed.
Intense clashes also erupted around the encounter site between Youth and Government Forces, many youth also were injured.
Meanwhile mobile Internet Service has been suspended in this South kashmir district.
