Amid the ongoing encounter in Kulgam’s Czawalgam area of South Kashmir, internet services have been suspended in various areas of this South Kashmir district.
As per Local internet services have been suspended in in the Kulgam township, Czawalgam, Chanser, Wokay, Hadigam, Laroo, Zazripora, Pahloo,Khalora among other areas.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the chanser area of Kulgam.
During which the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.
The Police have said that one Militant has been killed during the exchange of the gunfire.
