Kupwara Missing Boy Traced After 7 Years

Police on Sunday claimed to have traced a missing boy from Kupwara in Delhi. The boy had been missing for 7 years.
In a statement issued, Police said that Police Post Kalaroos received a written report from Mohammad Ashraf Bhat son of Khazir Mohammad Bhat of Dogerpora Kalaroos, that one Ab Rashid Konsi son of Mohd Yousuf Konshi of Branard Kalaroos age about 14 years then, was missing from his house since 24 July 2013 who was working as a domestic helper in the house of said person.
Praising the efforts of the police, the statement said, “By virtue of untired efforts of Kupwara Police and the family members of the missing boy, Abdur Rashid Konshi son of Mohammad Yusuf Konshi was traced out in Delhi recently”.
Today on 2 August, after a gap of 7 years, the missing boy, now a man, was handed over to his family members after completing all legal formalities.
Pertinently, this is a second such case of missing people being traced in Kashmir this year, earlier a man in Budgam returned home after 18 long years.
