Actor Avinash Tiwary announced on Thursday that his debut film, Laila Majnu, will be re-released in cinemas across Kashmir next month due to popular demand.
The 2018 romantic drama, which also stars Triptii Dimri, was written and presented by Imtiaz Ali and directed by his brother Sajid Ali. It was produced by Ali’s former wife, Preety, and Ekta Kapoor.
Although Laila Majnu had a modest reception at the box office, it has since achieved a cult following. Tiwary confirmed that the film will hit theatres in Srinagar on August 2nd.
Both Tiwary and Dimri have made significant strides in their careers.
