4459 votes have been polled in Devsar assembly segment of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.
A large queue of voters was seen rushing to the polling booths in their respective areas in this assembly segment, where 4459 votes have been polled out of a total of 91288 voters.
Similarly in Noorabad a total of 4509 voters have cast their votes taking the poll percentage to 5.9%, Polling officials told The Kashmiriyat.

Kulgam=0.5% Noorabad =5.9% 3. HS Bugh = 0.4% 4. Devsar. = 4.9%
Overall Polling percentage upto 10Am is 2.8%
Kulgam- a volatile district of the Kashmir valley, located down South of Kashmir’s summer capital Srinagar will be going to polls on Monday (29 April) with over 3.45 lakh electors.
The South Kashmir district has 345,486 electors including 179,607 males, 164,604 females, 1262 service electors (1254 male and 08 female) and 13 transgender voters.

For smooth polling, the ECI has set up 433 polling stations across the district.
