Lashkar e Taiba Militant whose Video had Gone Viral Arrested in North Kashmir

The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a Lashkar e Taiba Militant in Hadipora near Baramulla-Handwara in North Kashmir.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Jammu Kashmir Police along with Army 32RR & 92 Bn CRPF arrested one local militant namely Amir Sultan War, a resident of Naidkhai Sumbal Bandipora during a NAKA checking.

Amir had recently joined the LeT Outfit had issued a video in which he was seen asking the people of North Kashmir not to participate in the forthcoming Local Bodies and Panchayat elections.

Case has been registered in P/S Dangiwacha and investigation taken up.
