Lashkar Module Busted in Kashmir’s Budgam

The Jammu Kashmir Police in Budgam and army 2RR arrested a top Militant associate along with three other OGWs from Budran area of Magam in Budgam during a cordon and search operation.

The Police identified the accused as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Ahmad Lone, Younis waza all residents of Budran and Nazir Ahmad sheikh who is a resident of Poshkar in khag area of this central Kashmir district.

“One pistol, grenade, Arms and ammunition and other incriminating material has been recovered from their possession,” a Police official told The Kashmiriyat

The Police official added that the group was active in the area since last few months.

“They were involved in providing logistics and shelter to active Militants and other unlawful activities,” a Police official said adding that a FIR No 82/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA and Arms act has been registered against the accused in Police Station Magam.
