Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Friday has strongly denounced the murder of Tariq Ahmad in Kunzer, Tangmarg at the hands of unknown gunmen in the North Kashmir area.
In a statement issued to a local news agency, the spokesman of the Militant outfit, Mehmood Shah has said that, “Tariq Ahmad was killed by police. The allegation of killing Tariq against the freedom fighters is nothing other than trash.”
The spokesman was quoted as saying that the SSP of Baramulla, Imtiaz Ahmed is closely associated with government of India. “He and his subordinates have killed countless innocent people like this earlier.”
“Indian attempts of creating misunderstandings between the Militant ranks and the public have always been unsuccessful. Indian agents can hurt us but they can never defeat us,” the spokesman further added.
