At least 50 sheep were killed after lightning struck amid heavy rains at the Haknar area of Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that a local nomad namely Abdul Salam Chopan Son of Mohammed Ramzan, a resident of Haknar in Ganderbal was grazing sheep in his locality when heavy lightning hit the area during rains.
They said that during the lightning over 50 sheep were killed, however, there was no report of any human loss in the incident.
