One local Militant has been killed in the overnight encounter that raged in the Bemina area of Srinagar, the police said.
An encounter has raged in the Srinagars Bemina area when Militants opened fire upon the forces on Thursday late night.
After a severe exchange of gunfire, one Militant has been killed who has been identified as Amir Riyaz, a resident of of Khrew area in Pulwama affiliate. The slain according to the Police was an associate of Mujahideen Gazwatul Hind
(MGH).
The police also said that the slain was relative of one of the accused of Lethpora Attack and was assigned to carry out fidayeen attack.
