People of Adabal Tailwani area of Achabal in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district staged a protest against the alleged failure of (PHE) Public Health Engineering department in providing drinking water to residents.
According to Local residents of Adabal Tailwani staged a protest against the PHE department which has failed to solve the drinking water problem of the people.
The residents talking to The Kashmiriyat said, “we are facing this problem for years now. In summers the situation gets worse”.
Protestors said they have brought the matter to the notice of concerned authorities but nothing has been done to restore water supply in the area.
Locals of the area appealed the higher authorities of concerned department for redressal of the grievance
