Scores of people on Monday morning are visiting the house of civilian Shoaib Ahmed Ganie in the Tukrwangam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Shoaib was killed on Sunday near the Darazpora area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of residents are visiting the family of the 20-year-old who was a shopkeeper to express solidarity with the bereaved families.
People are also visiting the grave of the deceased in his native to recite Fateh to the slain.
Pertinently after the killing, the Deputy commission of Shopian ordered a magisterial enquiry into the killing as the locals denied the Government’s claims that Shoaib has been killed in the crossfire.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, M Y Tarigami has demanded an impartial probe into the killing of the 20-year-old.
On Monday, the former chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti also demanded for an “impartial” probe into Shoaib’s killing.
