The Jammu Kashmir administration has announced an extension of the lockdown by seven more days across the region as covid cases continue to show an upward surge.
“Corona Curfew imposed in all 20 districts of J&K till 7 am on Monday, 10/5/21 is extended further by 7 days till 7 am on Monday, 17/5/21. The curfew will be strict except for a few essential services,” the Jammu Kashmir admin said.
On Sunday, the Jammu Kashmir administration said that the lockdown in Jammu Kashmir extended further by 7 days till 7 am on next Monday.
Only essential services have been exempted from the lockdown, the admin said, adding, “The gathering size permissible for marriages is reduced to 25 with effect from 09 May 2021.”
