
Jammu Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has launched a new film policy to make the region a shooting paradise for filmmakers. Speaking on occasion, Lt Governor said that the J K administration is creating a vibrant film ecosystem to bring back the golden era of filmmaking in J&K and transform UT into the most preferred film destination.
He said the new Film Policy would transform Jammu Kashmir into a cinematographer’s delight.
The Lieutenant Governor invited filmmakers from across the world to come to JK and explore the pristine beauty of Jammu and Kashmir and avail a host of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives besides world-class facilities offered by it.
Sinha added that the government has set up a Single Window Clearance mechanism; prepared Equipment, Location & Talent Directories besides offering a host of incentives for filmmakers coming to J&K.
