Four persons died after they tumbled into a Trench in Khanpora area of Utersoo in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) area on Sunday Morning.
A Police official posted in the area identified the lady as Shameema Wife of Maqbool Khan.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that a lady died on the spot while four other persons were injured when they fell down into a under construction trench in the area.
Locals rushed to the spot and rescued them out of the trench and shifted them to the hospital.
The Hospital officials said that three have succumbed to their injuries, two of them have been identified as Sabzar Ahmed Son of Mohammed Maqbool resident of Utersoo, Zahid Ahmed Ahanger Son of Gull Mohammed Ahanger resident of Utersoo.
The injured have been shifted to District Hospital in Islamabad (Anantnag) where they are undergoing treatment.
