A male dead body was recovered in South Kashmir’s Shastergam area of Dooru in Anantnag district on Friday afternoon.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that some locals spotted a male dead body lying in Shastergam village of Dooru Anantnag and immediately informed police about it.
Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, he said.
The body was identified as that of Inam ul Haq son of Javid Ahmed Wani, a resident of Natipora Dooru Anantnag.
Police have taken cognizance of the death of Inam ul Haq and investigation is in progress.
