A man was critically injured on Monday after a bear attacked him in Cherwan area of Ganderbal district on Monday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 51-years-old Abdul Rashid Tedwa, son of Shamas U Din of Thune Kangan was attacked by a bear when he was out.
“The Locals heard his cried and rushed to spot, and the bear ran away from the spot”.
He said that Rashid was rescued by locals and shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kangan in critical condition from where he was shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment.
