A man died on Sunday in Kandiwara Kokernag area in South Kashmirs Anantnag District when he was lopping a tree near his home.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a man lopping a tree died when the axe accidentally fell on his chest resulting in his on the spot death.
A Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat verifying the incident identified the man Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Abdul Sattar shah.
He said that Manzoor was a resident of Kandiwara area in Anantnag district’s Kokernag belt.
