Man Killed over Land Dispute By His Brother in Baramulla

A man was allegedly killed by his elder brother over land dispute in north Kashmir’s Pattan.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a family land dispute in a family fight turned into war between two brothers at Nihalpora area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

They said that the two brothers had a heated argument over land dispute in which a man allegedly killed his 60-year-old elder brother.

The deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Yatoo son of Abdul Rahim Yatoo, his body was taken to Pattan hospital for postmortem.

A police official confirming the incident said that five persons have been arrested in this regard and further investigation has been launched into the matter.
