One person has been shot at by unknown gunmen in the Hassanpora area of Arwani in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that suspected militants on Friday evening fired upon a man identified as Asif Ali Ganie son of Ali Mohammed Ganie in the Hassanpora area, causing injuries to him.
Asif Ali Ganie, a resident of Hassanpoa Tavela has been shifted to the Sub District hospital Bijbehara, they said.
Meanwhile, the Government forces have reached the spot and laid a cordon around the area to nab the attackers.
Pertinently, his father, 53, named Ali Mohammed Ganie was shot dead by militants outside his home in south Kashmir’s Hassanpora area on January 29, 2022.
