The residents of Mantribug area in Shopian district of south Kashmir are aghast over the patehtic condition of the roads.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, locals said that the road has developed potholes which makes it very difficult for the vehicles to pass over the road.
“During rains, the roads appear like swimming pools and makes it impossible for locals to use the roads. We have complained to several officials, however, our demands have gone unaddressed so far,” a group of Locals said.
They added that substandard construction material was used for the construction of the road which has led to such pathetic condition of the road.
Residents appealed the local admin to intervene at the earliest.
