Following the killing of three policemen In Shopian on Friday, a massive Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the eight villages South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Saturday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55RR of Indian Army, 183 and 184 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the villages.
As per sources the operation has been launched at Lassipora, Armula, Alaipura, Batnur, Garbug, Nowpora Payeen, Hajdarpora and Achan.
They said that following an input about Militant movement in the area, the troops immediately rushed to the spot.
Locals Meanwhile told The Kashmiriyat that the forces have blocked all the entry and exit points to the area and a massive search operation has started.
