The Government Forces on Monday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Makdampora of Quimoh area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the area.
A heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
A search operation was going on when this report was being filed.
An official however denied that cordon had been placed in the area. “It is a deployment as an officer is visiting the area,” he said. (The Kashmiriyat)
