The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in Qamar locality of Verinag area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Sunday Morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 19 RR of Indian Army, SOG 0f JK Police and 164 BN of CRPF laid down the Search Operation jointly and sealed all the entry and exit points to the Gudsatoo area.
“The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said.
A door to door search operation has been launched in the area.
