Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in Soaf Shali area of Koernag Belt in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) District.
The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in the main town area on Sunday afternoon.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 19 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and 164 BN CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly.
“The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said.

Hundreds of youth hit the streets when the Anti Militancy operation was launched and threw stones on troops amid intense pro Freedom sloganeering.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the Forces fired tear smoke shells, pellets and aerial shots to disperse the protesters.
However the Police denied that there was any incident of stone Throwing in the area.
