Massive clashes erupted in Pulwama town over the rumour of the killing of a local Militant in Sopore’s Dursoo Bahrampora early morning on Friday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth hit the streets as soon as the news of the Local B.tech student who had joined Militants two days back spread in the area.
The youth shouting pro Freedom slogans hurled stones on the Government Forces deployed in the area who retaliated with tear smoke shelling.
Rumours have spread that the BTech student Khurshid Ahmad Malik son of Gh Nabi Malik resident of Arbal village of Pulwama who had gone missing a few days ago has been killed in the gunfight.
However officials are yet to confirm anything in this regard.
