Intense clashes between protesters and government forces erupted near gunfight site in Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway.
Gunfight is on as two to three Militants are believed to be trapped in the area, official sources told The Kashmiriyat.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that Hundreds of protesters assembled and pelted stones on forces who retaliated with tear smoke shelling and pellet firing at near the encounter site
Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out and help the trapped Militants escape, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
People in large numbers from adjacent areas of Khudwani, Quimoh, Gofbal, Redwani are marching towards the encounter site.
