At least four persons have been injured during intense clashes that erupted near the encounter site in Kundalan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that intense clashes erupted as soon as the news of Militants being trapped in the area spread.
Youth in large numbers hit the streets shouting Pro Freedom and Pro Islam slogan, the forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.
Hospital Officials at Shopian confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that four civilians out of whom one has been referred to Srinagar for treatment were brought to the hospital from the encounter site.
