Clashes broke out between the Government forces and youth after Government forces launched a search operation in Ahagam area of Shopian district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that scores of the youth assembled and pelted stones on government forces to disrupt the CASO in the area.
The Forces deployed in the area retaliated with tear gas shells to disperse the protesters.
Pertinently Militants had attacked a patrolling party of 44RR near Army Goodwill school post which a search operation was launched in the area.
Heavy contingents of RR of Indian Army, SOG and CRPF have been deployed in the area and search operation is going on, sources said.
