A cotton factory was damaged in a massive fire in Chanthangulabpora area of Lar Ganderbal.
According to locals the fire broke out in nearby factory, in the afternoon here in Chanthangulabpora near Old Cement Factory in Lar Ganderbal. Locals doused the fire as the fire service reached late.
Initial reports say that a short circuit caused the fire which resulted in huge damage to the factory.
Locals demanded compensation for the owner of the factory Ishaq Ahmed Qureshi Son of Mir Zamaan Qureshi resident of ChantanGulabpora, Lar Ganderbal.
