A massive exchange of gunfire is on at Ganopora in Yaroo area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara District on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the 30 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
The Militants present in the area opened fire upon the troopers conducting a search operation in the area, triggering a gunfight.
As per the initial reports, two to three Militants including local Militants are exchanging Gunfire with the Government Forces.
The Kashmiriyat correspondent on ground, reported that massive gunfire is on denouncing the claim of many media houses that no contact has been established with Militants yet.
