The Government Forces on Friday noon launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Tilgam area of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched 29 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Tilgam area of Pattan.
Following specific inputs about Militant movement, All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Friday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
