A cordon and search operation has been launched by Government Forces in Ruhmoo area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir.
Following a specific tip off about Militant presence, the 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and 182, 183 Battalions of CRPF laid a siege to the Bhagat Mohalla and Dangerpora areas of Ruhmoo on Monday afternoon.
The Forces have blocked all the entry and exit points to the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that reinforcements have been rushed to the spot as a massive areas has been placed under cordon.
A door to door Search operation has started as Militants are believed to be hiding in the area.
