One person died after a snow Avalanche hit the Sinthan top area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir,
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday a snow avalanche hit the Sinthan top area of Anantnag resulting into the death of a JCB driver, while several injuries have been reported from the spot.
The deceased driver has been identified as Javed Ahmed Zagoo son of Abdul Aziz Zagoo, a resident of Dessu in Larnoo area of Anantnag.
They said that they massive rescue operation is underway at the spot.
