
Former Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs to facilitate the return of the body of Kabir Khan, a resident of Rajouri, who died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.
The PDP leader highlighted that Kabir Khan had been employed as a laborer in Saudi Arabia when the tragic incident occurred.
“Kabir Khan from Rajouri, working as a laborer in Saudi Arabia, lost his life in a tragic road accident. His family is awaiting the return of his mortal remains. I urge @MEAIndia and @DrSJaishankar to address this matter urgently to repatriate his body. The nearest contact for the deceased in Saudi Arabia is Kafeel at +966550568146,” Mufti shared on X.
In a different post, Mufti expressed her condolences for the sixteen individuals who died in a road accident in Akhnoor, Jammu.
“My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to their families and loved ones,” Mufti conveyed on X.
