People’s Democratic party chif Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday held a protest demonstration in Pulwama against the ban on Jamat e Islami in Pulwama townhsip in South Kashmir.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Mehbooba Mufti after addressing a workers convention in DC Office in Pulwama led a protest demonstration towards the townhall of Pulwama.
Raising slogans demanding the revocation of ban against the religious outfit Jamat e Islami, dozens of PDP workers rallied alongside Ms Mufti.

The Government of India in February imposed a ban on Jamaat e Islami and shortly after that a ban was imposed on JKLF.
