Mehbooba Mufti’s Cavalcade Stoned in South Kashmir

The Cavalcade of Former chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti was stoned by youth on the way to Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat today that Mehbooba Mufti early morning on Saturday paid salutations at Khiram Dargah and while she was on the way to address a workers conventions Some persons threw stones on her cavalcade.

Mehbooba escaped unhurt but one of her escort vehicle was damaged in the stone throwing incident, Sources said.

Police immediately cordoned the area and gave safe passage to Mehbooba Mufti, they added.

A Police official upon being contacted denied the report and said nothing as such happened.

She has now reached Bijbehara to address a Party Workers Convention.
