MeT Predicts Rains, Snow for the Next 24 Hours

The local meteorological department Monday predicted snow rains in Kashmir in next 24 hours.

A fresh western disturbance is approaching the Himalayas and under its influence rains will commence over the state from March 19 onwards, a meteorological department official said here.

“There are likely chances of light rain/snow at isolated places over the state during next 24 hours,” the official said.

Meanwhile, one-way traffic continued to ply on the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Tuesday.
