The Militant who was critically wounded during a gunfight with Government Forces in Gund Baba area of Sangam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has succumbed to his injuries.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Zaheer Abas Lone, a resident of Inder area in Pulwama who was admitted in Shri Mahraja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital in Srinagar succumbed to his injuries.
Zaheer, an affiliate of Hizb ul Mujahideen had recently joined the outfit and his audios were also circulated on social media.
Pertinently an encounter raged in Anantnag on Thursday between Militants and Government forces at Gund Baba Khaleel, Anantnag during which te Forces arrested one local HM Militant Zaheer Abbas Lone.
Zaheer was taken to the hospital by Police in a wounded condition.
