The Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have busted a Militant hideout in the Ganderbal area of Central Kashmir on Monday evening.
A police official told The Kashmiriyat that based upon a specific information a search operation by Jammu Kashmir Police Ganderbal along with 5 RR was launched in Forest area of Badurkund, Gutlibagh area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
During this course a hide out of militants has been busted . From the hideout the following Arms/Ammunition and other usable articles have been recovered.
The Police said that one INSAS Riffle, 04 Magazines, 80 Rounds, 37 AK 47 Rounds, 1 Chinese Grenade were recovered from the hideout.
The riffle recovered appears to have been snatched by the militants from security forces, Police said.
In this regard, an FIR registered at police station Ganderbal to conduct investigation and trace out the persons involved.
