A Jaish Muhammad Militant has been killed in a brief shootout at Bathin area in Khrew of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that an unknown Militant of Jaish e Muhammad was killed in a brief shootout with 50 RR and Jammu Kashmir Police at Khrew area of Pampor.
A police offical said that a JeM militant who is yet to be identified was killed in an shootout with JK police and 50 RR at Bathin, Arms and ammunition were recovered from the gunfight site, he said.
As per initial reports, the slain is a Pakistani Militant.
His associate was however arrested by police. He has been identified as Suhail of Khrew, who was was active from last five months, police said in a tweet.
