Suspected militants on Thursday attacked a police Patrol party at By pass Sopore in North Kashmir’s baramulla district.
Police officials told The Kashmiriyat that the militants were bike borne and opened opened fire at Police Naka Party and escaped from the scene.
“No one is injured in the incident but the whole area has been cordoned off and search for the assailants has been launched,” a Police said said.
Immediately a Cordon and search operation was launched.
The Operation is being jointly conducted by SOG sopore, 22RR, 177,179 CrPF.
