Suspected Militants on Sunday night fired at the house of BJP leader Congress leader in Bonbazar area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Militants fired a few shots at the Police post guarding the house of the Congress leader, Mohammed Shafi Banday.
However the alert guard fired a few shots in the air and retaliated the attack, Militants later escaped from the spot.
As per initial reports, nobody has been injured in the attack.
Pertinently in July this year, militants had decamped with four rifles from police guards at the residence of Congress leader, Mohammed Shafi Banday.
