Militants on Saturday offered Gun Salute to slain Umar Malik at Malikgund area of South Kashmir’s Shopian during his funeral.
Umar was killed in an Encounter that erupted in South Kashmir’s Shopian District late night on Friday, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
They said that a group of 2-3 Militants appeared on the stage where Umar’s corpse lay and fired in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague.
Meanwhile thousands of people have gathered in Malikgund area to attend the funeral of Umar Malik.
Umar was killed in a gunfight with four colleagues at Kiloora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district late night on Friday.
