Militants Planning to Set up Training camps in South Kashmir

A report Published in a Punjab based Newspaper claimed Militants are planning to set up Training camps in the forests of South Kashmir to provide training to Kashmiri Militants.

According to the report, the Intelligence has inputs provided to the Government Forces, the Camps have not been established but since it is now difficult for newly recruited youth to cross the border for training.

Therefore, the training is being started in a militant training camp in the forests of South Kashmir.

After the death of Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016, the recruitment of local youth is escalating. On average, One hundred have been recruited since 2016. In the last year the army had killed large number of Militants including top commanders however Militancy is seeing no decline.

The Government Forces claimed to have information from their sources that in the forests of the of south Kashmir, Militant commanders have already started conducting training camps, though the Government Forces do not have enough information about the number of Militants being trained there.

Government Forces are preparing for action against such camps.
